Recently, I finished reading “The Book of Clarity” by Paras Chopra!
I would highly recommend this book if you are starting up. It is a quick gist of all the things you need to know. However, the book hits much harder if you have tried building a startup. It prompts a ton of self-reflection.
In fact, Paras mentions this as the very first thing you should keep self-reflecting on while reading the book.
One idea that really hit hard for me was about deep-tech startups - Deep tech startups tend to have a lower rate of success because the moment big tech sees an opportunity, they have far greater resources and R&D capacity to solve the same problem. Also, once a solution is demonstrated, it is easy to replicate.
Kind of high-risk, low-return bet. So true!
