Instead of sweeping failures under the rug, own them.
Every mistake has something to teach us, but only if we take the time to reflect. What went wrong? What caused it? What could have been done differently? Talking it through with others or journaling about it can be a great way to grow, both personally and in your career.
But reflection alone isn’t enough - growth happens when we act on those lessons. Taking responsibility and applying what you’ve learned make you a better engineer.
We all make mistakes. What matters most is how we choose to move forward.
